Running a bit late for Christmas? Don't panic! There's still time!

Don’t fret, don’t panic and DON’T (whatever you do) drown your sorrows in a vat of mulled wine, because you think you’ve missed the Christmas Tree boat.
You haven’t. The boat is still afloat. And it’s not just any boat (I’m growing unsure of this analogy) it’s the KING of boats and it comes in the form of Pines and Needles.
And their boat is the only boat you want to be aboard. Because they wear kilts, they embrace the silly santa hat… and they really know their Christmas trees.
Boat chat over.
And relax.

Pines and Needles was founded by brothers Josh and Sam Lyle back in 1995. It all started when the youngsters (then aged 15 and 13) came up with the brainwave of loading an old horsebox with Christmas trees from their family farm in Scotland and taking the long journey down to London. After a few years the kilted crew grew in size, the Internet beckoned, and the rest, as they say, is history… They deliver nationwide, install AND decorate your tree for you, if you should your heart so desire.
Your wish really is their command. They are the ultimate smiley Christmas kilted fairies.

A couple of weeks ago I visited one of the Pines and Needles stores in Wimbledon… and was here that I ate mince pies, was sung to by members of the incredible Holland Park Opera, drank bubbly and where fell in love with Humphrey. (My tree).

I wandered around all the hundreds of trees…. and then I saw Humphrey. And it was love at first sight…

Then once he was all wrapped, he was labelled and tagged with my name, my address and the date he would be delivered to my home – that Saturday.
I also ordered a stand for him, which the delivery guys assembled for me when they came.
And now, Humphrey is standing in my living room looking ever so proud and happy, gleaming in the corner and making us feel extraordinarily happy and Christmassy!

And now it is fully decked out with thousands of lights, glittering pinecones and my own homemade Bunny Baubles.
So stop what you’re doing immediately, either shop online, or find your nearest Pines and Needles store, and get down there this evening to find your very own Humphrey.
They’ll look after you, help you find your perfect tree and everyone will live happily ever after.
Oh, and there is now up to 45% off a number of their trees and products! It’s the perfect time!
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

I love Christmas too and wish we had kilted Christmas tree fairies here in Cardiff. There is a Welsh tartan though so I might suggest it to the husband. My hopes aren’t high though….
