EatFirst knocks my brunching socks off
When you’ve just moved into a new home and you’re surrounded by boxes and you don’t know where your pants are, let alone your saucepans, and you’re about to go on holiday so there is really no point in unpacking…. the LAST thing in the world you feel like doing is cooking. Not just because you can’t find a frying pan, but because it’s just one thing too far to think about… especially as you can’t find your pants.
Just before I whizzed off to Greece a couple of weeks ago, LM’s aunt and uncle popped round to say hello, see the new pad and join us for a spot of brunch in the garden, (which thankfully I had managed to keep alive thanks to my new garden hose – who knew hoses could be so exciting! I’ve never had a hose! I feel as though NOW, I am a grownup.)
There was absolutely no way I was going to be able to get my act together, so I turned to my new number 1 on speed dial (is that still a thing?) EatFirst – the masters of food delivery in London. Forget about disappointing takeaways, that arrive lukewarm, in unsealed leaking boxes… EatFirst is an online restaurant that delivers chef-designed dishes to your very doorstep… and they are delicious.
They have paired up with Noemi, creator of Berlin brünch, to bring healthy and delicious brunch deliciousness to our tables. Hurrah.
They have a snazzy app you can download here, which makes the ordering super duper easy and you can see from the images below, that it’s not as expensive as you might have thought it would be, based on how generous the portions were – the four of us ate very well indeed!
You can also filter easily between gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan…
Head Chef Benn Hodges and his team of talented chefs come from top restaurants and freshly prepare each dish everyday…and the really good news? You can order your lunch and dinner for same day delivery, by 2pm for lunch and 8pm for dinner. Or, you can choose a different delivery slot for the rest of the week.
We loved it and I have a feeling I’ll be turning to EatFirst again in the not too distant future, for another culinary feast!

Interesting post indeed. I enjoyed lot reading this article on Eatfirst. As a foodie person, my mouth is watering to see the delicious food here. They are yummy and taste in look. I love drinking juice, a want to get it. I adore it too much.

I had a hose once, but the only thing I used it for was to wet people when they were off guard. I know now that I wasn’t ready for the responsibility.
The food looks amazing. It’s services like that that make me wish I still lived in London. We don’t really have anything similar where I am now. Just your standard, cold, greasy takeaways.
