£10 Monday Theatre Tickets
Mondays have always had a bit of a bad rep when it comes to the feel good factor. Mondays are like a wishy washy cup of tea. Or a rubber that smears your pencil scribbles all over the page, rather than rubbing it out properly. Or a damp seat on the tube that you don’t realise until it’s too late…
It’s not all bad though. In fact, it is a long-standing tradition at The Royal Court Theatre to offer reduced tickets on Mondays.
And not just a little bit reduced – tickets in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs and the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs is priced at just £10 on Mondays, and tickets are available to anyone and everyone. (That’s you and me.)

If you want to bags yourself a seat or two (the maximum is 2 or 4, depending on the theatre) then have a look here on their website for all the ins and outs… but the main upshot of it is that tickets are released at 9am online, an hour before the Box Office opens at the theatre, so you need to be quick!

Oh and if you go, I can recommend The Botanist as a lovely local place for pre or post-theatre supper – I’ve actually only been there for breakfast but I’ve heard very good things about their chocolate brownie with salted caramel and fudge ice cream…
So really, Monday’s aren’t that bad after all…

Yes agreed! A great day to bank on something fun. A few restaurants also have a BYO wine night on a Monday (ie the Hawksmoors), which also helps perk up the day (!).
