Halloween cocktails: A Bloody Easy Mary

Bloody Mary
Halloween is officially round the corner.
I don’t know about you but for me, I do genuinely get a bit spooked. Not by all the ghosts and ghouls, but by the hoards of children, dressed up in crazy outfits demanding sweeties OR ELSE.

One year I completely failed and only had bananas and cans of tuna in my cupboard. Visions of being covered in raw egg hit me like a jackhammer so I ended up doing spooky dances on demand and dishing out packs of raw jelly to stay safe and out of harm’s way.

Tomato juice – a key ingredient 😉

Smirnoff Vodka
Oh and vodka – essential.

This year I am approaching Halloween in a completely different way and am embracing it whole heartedly with some pals, The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, pumpkin earrings and some truly excellent Halloween inspired cocktails.
I’ve always loved a good Bloody Mary, and if you do too – this recipe will be something to cherish, stick on the fridge and call upon in times of cocktail need.
This cocktail is also perfect for Halloween as you can pretend that you are ACTUALLY DRINKING BLOOD. (Just me?)
