Theo Fennell for sketch

Theo's Pink Fizz - Theo Fennell's new cocktail for Sketch
Last week I was lucky enough to be one of the first in line to try a brand new cocktail  at sketch. Lucky little me.
Sketch has joined forces with Theo Fennell – THAT British jewellery designer – and together they have knocked up one very special cocktail, named very aptly ‘Theo’s Pink Fizz’, as pink is a very important colour for both collaborators. This cocktail will be launched at sketch at the beginning of June this year to celebrate the beginning of Summer. Hip pip!

Theo Fennell has been working jewellery and silverware wonders for over 30 years, and ‘Theo’s Pink Fizz’ is his latest masterpiece.
The cocktail, which has been carefully created by sketch’s bar manager Joseph Arowolo, includes a rather unexpected combination of ingredients… would you put champagne and double cream together? No, neither would I. But having chatted to the girl who expertly made my cocktail, I now understand that it’s not an easy thing to get right… but they have. Oh yes, they really have…

Ingredients:

Beefeater 24
Lillet Rose
Rose liqueur
1ml orange blossom water Grenadine
1 x egg white
Double cream
Lemon juice
Topped with Rose champagne

“A great cocktail is in itself a thing and the ethos of sketch and their commitment to outstanding food, thought provoking art and music sits ideally with us. It is a perfect place for us to show off our extraordinary, bright new work.” Theo Fennell

Theo’s Pink Fizz will only be available  at sketch for four months, so pop a date in your diary, whack on your glad rags and go and sip something delectable before the Champagne runs out at the end of September.

I was invited to try Theo’s Pink Fizz, and if I hadn’t loved it, I wouldn’t have written about it.
