– Bite Me Pizza – Outstanding Pizza on Westbourne Grove

Earlier this week, my brother and I headed down to Bite Me Pizza on Westbourne Grove, for some blimmin good pizza. Bite Me Pizza hasn’t been there for very long, but they’re already making a bit of a name for themselves… The fact that all the seats were taken in their dinky restaurant was testament to that.
Their mission statement is pretty simple – “We just make fresh and fabulously tasty pizzas – exactly the way you like, with great ingredients, really fast.” And that is exactly what they do.

They have some kinds of miracle oven, meaning the pizzas take around 2 minutes to cook to perfection. They take a few minutes to prepare – you either choose your pizza from their menu, or select the individual ingredients from their extensive selection of toppings, which include a large variety of cheese… and away they go – zoooooooom!

I went old skool and went for a Hawaiian – I thought I might be the only person left in the world that still had pineapple on their pizza – but having asked you guys on my Facebook page, I’m glad to know I’m not on my own…

Apparently, the most popular pizza on their menu is the ‘Posh Pizza’, which includes cream tomato sauce, mozzarella di bufala, bocconcini, prosciutto crudo, rucola, cherry tomatoes, parmesan flakes, white truffle olive oil…. you can see why it’s a hit.
Here’s my AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS PIZZA being made…
And here’s the final kaboom…

Both pizzas were absolutely delicious. REALLY good. London is saturated with pizza, but most of them don’t come close to this. I was extremely impressed, as was my brother.
Many of the pizza toppings and drinks (local beers, wine, smoothies etc) are British-sourced as being eco-friendly is important to Bite Me. Their interior is also constructed from reclaimed wood, to echo this sentiment…
We were both completely stuffed after our pizzas, but it didn’t stop us ordering a dessert pizza to share. “A dessert pizza?” you ask?
Yes. A dessert pizza.

Heavenly. Or, “rude” as my brother put it.
(Rude = extremely good. He’s cool. I’m not.)
They sent us home with full tummies and delicious take-away coffees… the perfect end to a no-nonsense, fantastic meal.
Go to Bite Me Pizza.
Go this instant and give your tastebuds a treat. I’ll be the one with Nutella all over her face.

My brother and I were guests of Bite Me… and if I hadn’t loved it, I wouldn’t have written about it.

Hi Anca, it was absolutely HEAVENLY. Go and get one!
Claudia
I would be really very curious to taste it, since here in ITALY pizza is pizza only if cooked in a wood stove!
Anyways, I’ve seen so many “things” they call pizza abroad….this one seems good.
PS Poppy I adore your blog but please NOT PINEAPPLE on a pizzaaaaaaa! ;-D

Ha ha Claudia! Have I lost you because of the PINEAPPLE?!! Eek! I will reassess immediately 😉
