Dear Diary…

You may or may not have been aware that I have been having a few technical issues with my beloved blog. Things have disappeared, gone wonky, changed colour, started spinning (?!) but I am very pleased to announce that all of these blips have (mostly) been ironed out. There are still a few little oddnesses (yes, I’ve decided this is a word) but nothing that is too terrifying for me to deal with anymore… so onwards and upwards and all fingers and toes crossed for smooth sailing from now on!
I wanted to let you all know about a feature on my blog called ‘Dear Diary‘. It is a calendar full of events happening in London, the UK and sometimes even further afield than that…

It includes everything you can think of – art events, craft workshops cooking classes, dance, yoga, theatre, book clubs, workshops, talks… anything you can think of. And it is FREE to add your own event. **

I wanted to provide a platform for individuals and smaller businesses to promote their events, as it is not easy to get the word out, especially when you’re competing with big budget brands with big shouty mouths who can buy big mahoosive pages in the broadsheets.
So, please take full advantage!

Once you’ve added your event I can then share it for you via my social media channels, which have a lovely long reach, so hopefully it will be very useful promotion for you.
My diary is also there for you to browse and hopefully become inspired by – there is so much to see and do… so next time you’re sat on your sofa with no ideas popping off in your head, just head over to my calendar and p’raps you’ll find something lovely which tickles your fancy.

One last thing, in ‘The Blog Blips’ period I sadly lost all the events that people had already added. So, if that is you, I am very sorry indeed. Please do add your event again and I will publish it immediately!
Happy Tuesday to one and all and enjoy browsing!

**I reserve the right to not publish any events I feel are not in line with my blog’s calendar ethos, i.e. I prefer to provide a platform for independent and individual events, rather than the larger, more mainstream ones. Pip pip.

Sorry to hear about the blips you have been having – things spinning must have been an interesting one! I think this is a really good idea! I am looking forward to seeing the events being added in the future!
