Getting my Summer on…

Fat Face
Summer is so very nearly here… it’s twinkling on the horizon and the weather is just trying to catch up with itself… we’re in a kind of in-betweeny stage, with showers, wind, sun and clouds all making an appearance…
I’ve been a little taken with Fat Face‘s new Spring Summer collection – it’s whimsical, pretty and a bit sassy… and it’s totally got in-betweeny nailed 🙂

Breakfast in the garden one of my big indicators that Summer has nearly arrived! Coffee, croissants and a cosy cardi, al fresco is a winning formula for instant happiness making…

…and you know I can’t resist a pinafore… or a good game of table tennis. I’m actually quite good! Well, I’m not bad… I’m a hustler. I’m Paul Newman. People take one look at me and think ‘there is no way she can play table tennis…’ and then POW! I can actually get the ball OVER THE NET.

Layering is the name of the game for this kind of weather, as when it’s cloudy, there is a proper nip in the air and you need to wrap up a bit… but when the sun does make an appearance from behind the clouds, it can suddenly become actually HOT. Crazy English weather – I do love it though!

And sometimes, if I’m lucky, the sun comes out and stays out… and I can get my shorts on! Jam jars with straws, dappled sunshine, sunnies on and The Archers podcast on the radio… yes, I am that person.
And I still hate Rob.

Come on Summer! One more push and we’ll all be scampering about in our shorts before you know it…
