A Very Unexpected Delivery… #MontyThePenguin
Yesterday I took delivery of this.
A big black box with a big gold ribbon… and I had no idea what could possibly be inside…
I opened it up and this little chap jumped out!
His name is Monty. And he is my new best friend. We went for a walk, we ate fish fingers (he really liked those) and then we settled down to watch March of The Penguins…(Monty’s favourite film)
We popped out later to make a quick political appearance…
And told Penguin Books that as far as Monty was aware, he is not the Penguin penguin… if you get what I mean..
And then, before we knew it John Lewis finally released their magical 2014 Christmas Advert, in which Monty stars!

What a corker.
Monty’s now got his feet up, having a cup of cocoa and watching Cagney and Lacey… he’s been a busy boy.

Aww this is adorable! I’m sooo jealous haha, I’m a little bit (completely and utterly) in love with penguins, so obviously the new John Lewis advert is my favourite! The little Monty the Penguin teddy is adorable.
