Living in London is always an exciting and colourful experience and I share my life in real time as much as possible via Instagram.
I love writing a Lifestyle blog and my experiences are always rather eclectic – I’m often adding pictures of the latest café I’ve visited, new little shop I’ve discovered or the outfit I’m wearing.. l’m love the hidden corners of London and when I find a sparkly one, I share that too…
Here is my week (last week) in pictures and if you want to hop on board my Instagram train, you can find me here.
All the below photos are taken on my iPhone 5s – what a clever phone it is… Love this little car – I see it all over my neighbourhood and last Saturday it was parked right outside my lovely local butcher. A delicious fresh orange juice with my brother at the Electric Diner on Saturday morning Portobello Road in all its sunshiny glory… Popped into Oliver Bonas to have a nosey around.. love these gorgeous suitcases – perfect storage for me! Walked past these on my way to the bus stop… love my neighbourhood! Love this little cafe on England’s Lane in Belsize Park..Chamomile is always busy and bustling with happy people I’ve become much better at packing light, so whenever I’m out for the night I make sure I take this mini-sized-hair-life-saving conditioner with me. Kerastase Cristaliste is the name. Don’t wear it out. These are the tiles in the French café Boulangerie Bon Matin in Stroud Green, where I had brekky on Sunday morning. My sandals are from Office and I haven’t stopped wearing them since I bought them 2 months ago. Love my new Stripe Dobby Dress from Gap – shoes from Aldo Afternoon Tea at the Charing Cross Hotel on Sunday afternoon A cheeky glass of wine at Gordon’s Wine Bar on Sunday afternoon… The view from my room a the Charing Cross Hotel…London looking lovelier than ever Brekky at the Charing Cross Hotel on Monday morning Stunning roses are bursting out all over Portobello Road Nipped into Graham and Green on Elgin Crescent and love love love this wallpaper they have up on their wall. Sadly they’re discontinuing it but they have a few other similar styles here. Welcome Polpo, to the neighbourhood! They’ve only just arrived and I snapped them on Tuesday afternoon on Notting Hill Gate. Polpo is a Bàcaro – a Venetian word to describe a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young local wines. Wednesday morning took me to Southwark for the Yoo Design furniture launch at Harrods. This is the view coming up the escalator at Southwark station…bit spacey, eh? Watching the clever people at YOO Design demonstrate their new technology at the Harrods press breakfast- the idea is that you can see their furniture in your own homes before you buy it. You might be thinking of the IKEA idea.. but trust me, this is a whole lot more swanky. Quick snack before lunch – love these egg and spinach protein pots at Pret Love this Palm Print Tie Waist Jumpsuit from Topshop – ran across the road from Harrods to Topshop as it was calling me from the window… Look up! Love Selfridges in the sunshine Thought about jumping into this to be pedalled all the way home… didn’t. Got the tube. Boring… People’s scribbles inside Katrina Phillips‘ interiors shop on Portobello Road. Vintage styled flower presses in Katrina Phillips Some more beautiful things from inside the Katrina Phillips emporium of gorgeousness… Flowers in Portobello Road market A pink bench in Chelsea, sat just outside the Rumour PR Christmas Press show… my kinda bench. A pretty Chelsea street – right by the Rumour PR Christmas Press show Clocks on the wall at The Green Man pub on Riding House Street, W1 I met mum for lunch at the Parlour in Kensal Rise on Friday..I LOVE this place. Duck paté with sour bread chips. Heavenly. Coffee at the Parlour
Hope you enjoyed the stroll through my little life!
Don’t forget you can keep up with all my goings on over here on Instagram.
