“No one should have to spend Christmas alone and no one should have to
spend Christmas on the street” – Alexandra Dudley

I couldn’t agree more with this statement. Many of us do. And so do chefs Eyal Jagermann (The Barbary), Billy & Jack(Masterchef 2016) and chef and food writer Alexandra Dudley, who have have teamed up for a one-off supper club to raise funds for homelessness charity Streetsmart. They’re like the A-Team. But with whisks. (Not guns). (And no, I don’t know which one is Mr T).

The supper club is taking place this Friday 7th December from 7pm at Spitalfields co-working space Benk & Bo, where guests will be treated to a 3-course fabulous feast, classic cocktails and some festive cheer, with profits raised going directly to vulnerable and homeless members in the local community.

Each of the chefs will take it in turn to create an exclusive dish, drawing on Middle Eastern influences and flavours – Co-founder of London’s Best Restaurant 2017 (Timeout), The Barbary head chef Eyal Jagermann will bring his renowned style and flavours to create the starters, 2016 MasterChef finalists and supper-club aficionados Billy & Jack are in charge of the main course and ‘Land and Sea’ chef and food writer Alexandra Dudley will be whipping up something very special for pud. What a total treat.

All the courses will be accompanied by an optional wine pairing from Benk & Bo (available at an additional cost) which, if you’re a fan of the vino, is something not to be missed.
Established in 1997, StreetSmart has raised a total of £8.8 million to date, with the help of restaurants and diners by adding a voluntary £1 to diners’ bills during the festive months, with all proceeds being distributed to charities, hostels and projects that help those living on the streets and in unsuitable accommodation. It’s a truly fantastic charity and attending this supper-club will directly be helping to tackle the homelessness problem in the UK.
