Room to breathe
Drinking mojitos on the beach just isn’t going to cut it as my 2012 fitness plan, so I am thrilled to distraction that a new spangly yoga studio is opening this month in Queen’s Park, London! Hurruh!
Yogaloft is the brainchild of one, (very bendy) Susannah Tomkins, who has transformed the light-filled loft space on pretty, cobbled Lonsdale Road, into a beautiful yoga studio, complete with underfloor heating and all snazzy kit and facilities required to practise yoga in blissful comfort. Sigh.
With Iyengar, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa flow, Pregnancy classes, Gentle Yoga, (for those who are not super sprightly and bit stiffer) Baby & Me and Restorative classes available, whichever type of Yoga dings your dong, whether you’re a complete beginner or can scratch the back of your head with your toes (well done) you’ll be sure to find it at Yogaloft. You can pop in, email them or even book your classes online…they really have made it as easy peasy as it could possibly be. There’s also a 6 week course for total beginners, (like Poppy) for only £60…oh I do like a bargain.
The really good news is that Yogaloft is opening its doors for the first time on the 8th January and to celebrate, they are holding a day of free classes! Whoop! They’re also offering an introductory offer of £30 for 30 days, so wik wik wik ladybugs, (and boybugs too) – get your bendyishselves down there pronto.
If you’d like to know more, just pop over to their website and get in touch. It’s time to go with the flow.
