Harrods Hampers: a touch of Christmas luxury
When Harrods got in touch with me to test-drive their hampers for them, my heart literally skipped a beat. Possibly two. In fact, it’s a miracle that I’m still alive.
Harrods and Hampers are two words which are synonymous with Christmas and I couldn’t wait for my chosen hamper to arrive…
I had chosen The Harrogate Hamper, which is full of delicious Cartwright and Butler Christmas products.
I couldn’t believe the size of the pretty duck-egg blue hamper that arrived – I could get inside it! And shut it! Which I obviously did, before getting a bit stuck and then laddering my tights on the way out… Classy.
As you all know, I love getting together with friends and family and sharing delicious cakes, sweet treats and endless pots of tea… I’m much more into social eating than boozing, so this hamper could not have been more perfect for me. It was packed to the hilt with jams and chutneys, cheese crackers and biscuits, Christmas teas and coffees… it is the hamper equivalent of THAT Mary Poppins bag.. never, ever ending…….
I love chutney on cheese and crackers… I think I might love it a bit too much…
And then the biscuits… THE BISCUITS…
And just when I thought there couldn’t possibly be anything more inside…

It was such a pleasure to test run Christmas morning… and afternoon… in fact, all Christmas snacking!
