Easter Cocktails with Amarula

// sponsored post

Easter is well and truly in the air and if you haven’t yet discovered Amarula Cream Liqueur, allow me to introduce my new naughty tipple – Easter Cottontail – to have with a side of chocolate eggs… 🐣

Easter Cottontail

60ml Amarula Cream Liqueur

250ml freshly brewed coffee

60ml cold milk

60ml vodka

Garnish with coffee beans and grated dark chocolate

Amarula Cream hails from South Africa and is made from the delicious marula fruit – a little bit sweet and sour, like a plum or lychee.

The Marula trees grow only across Africa’s subequatorial plains, and they only bear their fruit once a year – at the height of summer. The fruit is the size of small plums but oval in shape… and good news – they containin four times more vitamin C than the average orange! Marula is a succulent fruit with a citrus tang and a creamy, nutty taste. Are you sold? It’s delicious. As is Amarula Cream Liqueur – it’s totally delicious (either in a decadent cocktail or straight over ice).

Amarula also donates to The Amarula Trust which supports elephant conservation and empowers, and strengthens the vital local communities 🐘 which I love.

If you fancy creating one of these cocktails yourself, please do and send me a pic!

Have a wonderful Easter, gang – you know what I’ll be sipping on Easter Sunday 🙂
