Allow me to introduce Green Elf Trees – a new, community driven initiative, that delivers sustainable British Christmas trees all over the UK. Each tree is delivered by an out of work musician or entertainer (so brilliant) and with every purchase you can support a charity of your choice. (Double brilliant).
My gorgeous Fraser ‘Royal’ tree was delivered a few days ago (by a very smiley chap) and it’s absolutely beautiful. So lush, so green, so healthy and smells absolutely gorgeous. And it’s no wonder – they have partnered with a Christmas Tree grower, from the South West, who have been growing the most fabulous trees for generations (previously supplying the Crown Estate and The Ritz London).

For each tree ordered, Green Elf Trees will donate £3 to the charity of the customer’s choice (either Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, Shelter or Dogs Trust) and their commitment to sustainability can be seen in many ways; promoting real trees over artificial ones (given their considerably smaller carbon footprint), offering pot-grown trees that can live on for seasons to come, only sourcing trees from the UK to minimise miles spent in transit, as well as offsetting the carbon emissions from their delivery team. They’ve thought of everything. And I appreciate all of it.

They also provide a ‘Responsible Tree Removal Service’ to ensure trees are disposed of properly (either composted or up-cycled), and offer a range of decorations focused on natural materials…
With their festive spirit, convenient service and community support, their London based team are hoping to provide some Christmas cheer when people need it most… and they’ve certainly delivered it in bucketloads to me in Walthamstow!
While I have you here, I wanted to show you a few of the treats that I’ve already discovered under my tree ;)

It’s certainly beginning to feel a lot more like Christmas over here… sending some festive sparkle your way!
And oh, our bathroom is nearly finished! Lockdown with no bathroom! Can you imagine?!
All product mentioned was a PR gift.
