This month, there have been some beautiful things that have come into my world… and I wouldn’t part with any of them.
Each appears to have been inspired by nature and they have all become new essentials – amazing how quickly that can happen – when something just fits into your life perfectly, you can’t remember what it was like without it.

I’m not one to get in a tizz about leggings, but my word – these are the bees knees. They are fully reversible, 100% opaque (important for when you do anything bendy) they are super stretchy, high waisted (LOVE) and are so super soft and flattering. I absolutely love them and love how they shape my body… I think they might be magic leggings.
Yes, that must be it.

They also have mesh panels, so they keep you cool while you work out – they really have thought of everything, those clever peeps at Sweaty Betty.

I recently visited Floris London while I explored the area of St James… and immediately feel in love. The store has thousands of amazing tales to tell and an extraordinary variety of stunning fragrances… This is their newest scent and it is absolutely and utterly gorgeous…
“A unisex citrus marine eau de parfum that evokes the warmth of a Mediterranean sea breeze, sunshine and clear shimmering water.”

Top notes: bergamot, marine, mandarin
Heart notes: green tea, orange blossom, ginger, vanilla
Base notes: amber, spice, ambrette, woods, vanilla

I came pretty late to the matcha party, but now that I’ve arrived, I like the tunes and won’t be leaving. I knew that matcha had great health benefits, from reducing bad breath, improving bone strength and supporting weight loss etc… but I didn’t know how yummy it could be. And this mint matcha green tea from Pukka is my new go to tea in the afternoon… Its refreshing, it’s good for me and it’s delicious. Hurrah!

And of course, if your tea is delicious, so must your crockery be…

YOPE is a young Polish company, who make yummy natural soaps with no parabens, no sls (Sodium Laurel Sulfate) no peg (Polyethylene Glycol) no silicones and are vegan! They have recently launched in the UK with a small range of soaps for the bathroom and kitchen – which also eliminates nasty pongs 😉
They smell lovely and I love their branding too…

You already know that I’m a huge fan of Tada and Toy, and their new Flame Back Marine Collection is launching on the 6th June (SOON!) This is the Pacific Labradorite Pendant and is absolutely stunning…

Tada and Toy have a knack of creating delicate jewellery that makes a big and bold statement. Clever girls.

I love love love this leather pouch from Jigsaw. The leather is bright, soft and buttery and I definitely expected it to me far more expensive than its £59 price point.
It comes in an array of colours including metallic gold, silver navy, tan and aqua… so choosing just one gorgeous colour, was NOT EASY. The colour evokes memories of daisy chains and buttercups… it sings to my senses.

The bag features a zip-top closure (one of those lovely smooth zips that fill you with confidence that its not about to snap off) a leather wrist strap (handy) and is a perfect size for a wedding, party or any occasion where you need to be able to carry slightly more than just a lipstick. This bag holds a decent amount of makeup, my phone, my phone battery, some tissues and my sunnies with room to spare…
All these bits and pieces are now staples in my life and wardrobe… even though they only recently were introduced to me! Old favourites have had to step aside to make room for my new heroes.
Does that make me fickle?
Or just a Poppy with exceptional taste?
😉

Love matcha tea and its health benefits – did not know about Pukka’s mint version. Have to give it a try. Love the yellow leather pouch – what a great colour for the summer!
