This afternoon I boarded a plane, which flew me through the skies (clever) and landed me a short drive away from the Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa in Marbella…
We arrived at sunset and by the time we’d arrived at the hotel it was all very dark outside, so I haven’t yet taken any photographs of the resort itself… I can’t wait to open my curtains in the morning and see the sun pouring in!
However, what I have seen so far is magnificent… the bed I am cocooned in as I type this, appears to have been made in Marshmallow Land… and my room and bathroom are both enormous! (If you’re following me on snapchat you’ll have seen these already…)
I will be writing more about the resort once I’m home, but for now I wanted to share with you the wonderful dinner we had this evening at Sea Grill – one of the resort’s many restaurants…
There are a number of us who are staying at the hotel in anticipation of the launch of their new club ‘La Suite’, tomorrow night, and we were all treated to this wonderful meal this evening…
The most delicious fresh sashimi and sushi, oysters (which I couldn’t eat as I am allergic, but everyone else was raving about them) succulent meats and ridiculously delicious desserts, including some kind of warm banana doughnut, which excited me very much indeed. (I may have had two).
I’m now going taking my full tummy to bed and am already looking forward to a day of beach, spa and sunshine tomorrow…
Night night from my gorgeous-as-soft-as-fluffy-clouds-cosy-bed in Marbella… I’m sending some sunshine to wherever you are…
(I just found a chocolate on my pillow! Result!)
