An icon remastered: Fiat 500 duets with Ella Eyre (Oh yes it does)
Betsy, my beloved Fiat 500, was very excited last week (as was I) because the new Fiat 500 was being launched!
I hot footed it over to Tower Bridge, to a special launch party where there were several of Fiat’s new models, gleaming under the sun and rainbows. It was also where we, the lucky party goers, would see a very special music performance. But more on that in a tick…
To mark this exciting launch, British singer songwriter Ella Eyre performed a a re-mastered version of The Emotions’ number 1 hit “Best of My Love… and she didn’t sing it alone. Nope. She and the new Fiat 500 duetted on this track together, live, while they both danced on a huge stage, designed like a massive vinyl record… confused?
That’s understandable.

The concert was great and I loved the collaboration between the car and the girl… it was all a bit magical.
And to remind us all on the amazing journey Fiat have been on, this gorgeous thing was twinkling on the sidelines… it’s true love!
Fiat have launched a gorgeous new car – a true icon remastered – and they managed to create an event that couldn’t have done it more justice. It was retro and new, classic and modern and excited an audience that thought it had seen it all.
Hats off, Fiat – Betsy and I think you’re just marvellous. Beep beep!
