– Thinking Bob – Making London Even Lovelier

London is a BIG old place! It’s full to the brim of brilliant people, but sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find them… which is strange, considering how many there are.
If you’ve grown up in London, chances are you have forged many friendships over the years and have pals in lots of different London corners… However, if you are new to The Big Smoke and are looking to make some new chums to play with and do fun things with and explore with and kick back with and play Scrabble in pubs with… then allow me to introduce you to Bob. Well, Thinking Bob, actually.

Thinking Bob is your Social Life Fairy Godmother (or Godfather?) who arranges oodles of different and innovative social events in London each month, which you can pop along to, have a blast at and meet some like-minded friendly folk.
There really is something for everyone. For example, this week Thinking Bob have arranged meet ups at a Ukulele Hootenanny in Hoxton, a Time Travel adventure, Late Night at The Science Museum, an outdoors sunshiney debate.. and they’ve even arranged their own Poppy Loves Book Club!

 

 

Each social that’s organised is very relaxed and hosted by a member of Team Bob, so there is someone there to welcome you, introduce you to the other ‘Bobbers’… which is one of the things I love most about this – Thinking Bob really wants you to have a good time and meet some lovely people OFFLINE. In the real sparkly world. And they do everything within their power to make sure that happens, whether you’re meeting up for a board game fest, a music quiz or an Ice Cream and Market Walk… (How good does THAT sound?!)
It’s super easy to sign up and once you have, you can pick and choose from their long list of lovely events coming up. You can join someone else’s social.. or even set up one of your own. You can connect with all the people you’ve met on the Thinking Bob website and see who’s doing what when.
Your social diary will be exploding before you know it!
