Cocktails in Louboutins at The Ritz (Obviously)
In 1951, Tallulah Bankhead, the American film star, while attending a press conference at the Ritz to celebrate her arrival in London, took off her shoe, poured champagne into it and drank.
To mark this wonderful moment in history, The Ritz have created a champagne cocktail called The Tallulah, which is served to you and I, in a Louboutin glass stiletto. I do not jest. Tis true.
The (very delicious and ever so drinkable) cocktail is a clever concoction of Soshu Japanese spirit, jasmine pearl tea, Cinzano Bianco, geranium essence and Piper Heidsieck champagne and is designed by head bartender, Walter Pintus.

The Ritz is so utterly and quintessentially old English, the experience is verging on magical… you do feel as though you are in another world.. or at least that you have stepped back in time – 1951, perhaps…

Wow! Believe it or not, despite living close to London, I have NEVER been to The Ritz (a crime, I know). I must say these cocktails look amazing, even for a non-drinker. I bet they have something for me though, a nice fruity mocktail nom nom! i would also like to have afternoon tea there 🙂 xx
