Monsoon & Accessorize AW14 Edits

2014 is going to have a spectacularly styled Autumn/Winter, if Monsoon have anything to do with it. Gorgeous silhouettes, endless embellishment, glittering, sparkling, stunning colours with rich, luxe fabrics, super chunky knits and elegant fur trims… all with Monsoon’s signature sumptuous and uber feminine handwriting…

Every item was so on point. Nail on head. Finger on button. I was so taken with the collections and completely impressed… I wanted everything I could see. Problem. *Checks bank balance.*

Their press day took place in the heart of London’s bustling Covent Garden in a beautiful, magical, woodland wilderness.. jewelled taxidermy, wonderland trees of antique keys and looking glasses… and within every fairytale corner of wonderment twinkled statement necklaces and accessories, like fireflies in a faraway forest…

I need to mention the canapés that were being whizzed about by fairies.. is it wrong to have been distracted so much by a mini lemon meringue that I forgot that I was meant to be taking pics of the clothes?

And of course, the immaculate Accessorize were there in force, with an abundance of jewels, sparkles, scarves, shoes and hats.. and a beautiful new range of jewellery from Zara Simon… the collections are gorgeous. You’re going to need a bigger jewellery box. (I’m going to need a bigger wallet…)

These are absolutely beautiful photos and the Monsoon collection is absolutely stunning. The dresses are beautiful – I especially love the black and gold dress. It looks like its just stepped out of The Great Gatsby.
