'Animals in the Wall' a new exhibition by William S Burroughs

If you haven’t heard of William S Burroughs, allow me to introduce you. A true visionary of the 20th Century, he is recognised as one of the most culturally influential writers and a progenitor of the Beat Generation (which questioned politics, explored religion, developed styles & creative methods, and wrote about the human condition) – his writing and ideas changed literature forever.
From Burroughs’ multi-media collaborations came new directions in film and music and his art is only now being properly discovered and explored. His works come alive in new ways each day, so it seems his legacy is constantly evolving…

Excitingly, there is a new exhibition launching today, sponsored by Planet Organic, which showcases a unique collection of William S Burroughs artistic works, curated by James Elphick and Yuri Zupančič.
‘Animals in the Wall’ exhibition showcases a new side to Burroughs’ exciting work and premiers at the Londonewcastle Project Space in East London and features over 40 original Burroughs’ works including some never before shown… there are also many other contributing artists and a programme bursting with exciting talks, workshops and film screenings…
