Spring is in the air…

Poppy Loves M&S

Spring is most definitely here and Summer it on its way…

I’ve ditched the coat and am seeking out lighter threads, pretty fabrics and feminine cuts. My brother said I looked like Mary Poppins in this dress. My friend said “Dorothy”. And quite frankly, I’ll take them both.

Entering the fifth door of Mayfair was a little bit like being Alice and entering Wonderland…

Jigsaw on Duke Street is not only full of the MOST gorgeous Jigsaw (*that* iconic British brand that you’ve simply always known about and makes you feel happy when you walk past its warm glowing windows) attire, but it’s also the home to its sister store, The Shop at Bluebird and the best (I think, and I stand by this) coffee on Duke Street.

And cake. Lots and lots of cake.

Home. Tea. Breathe.

Oasis Dress AW16

Over the last six weeks I’ve packed up a flat in Finsbury Park, moved house to Walthamstow, had a jaunt in the Cotswolds for LM’s birthday,  whizzed off to Greece for a couple of weeks holiday and suffered a technical disaster to end all technical disasters. (Hundreds of emails were deleted from my inbox and I’m still wading through my injured inbox on a recovery mission…)

Oh hello, Autumn. There you are.

Poppy Loves AW16

Over the past few days there has been a noticeable shift from Summer to Autumn… Grey clouds have made a few appearances, the heavens have opened once or twice (and both times I have been caught out without an umbrella) and there is definitely the beginnings of an Autumnal carpet of golden leaves around my neighbourhood in London…
