Ding ding! To celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday, Thornback & Peel will be hosting a very British screen printing workshop on Sunday 12th June as part of The Queen’s Fringe, at their Bloomsbury store.
I wouldn’t call myself particularly green fingered. In fact, for a while I thought my fingers were the kiss of death for any plant – especially orchids. And basil. Even the weeds I cultivated last Summer looked sorry for themselves.
So it was with great excitement that I accepted the challenge set for me, by Wyevale Garden Centres – to grow my own produce at my London flat, which (hopefully) I should be able to actually EAT in a few weeks…
In a landscape so saturated with hundreds of different brands of suitcases, travel bags and luggage, it is a triumphant feat and a true testament of their product, that DELSEY has made it to 70 years old… and is still going strong!
I spend an awful lot of time running around London… and much of this time is simultaneously spent with my face glued to my phone following a map, so it’s a miracle that I haven’t knocked myself out on a lamppost yet.

This month, there have been some beautiful things that have come into my world… and I wouldn’t part with any of them.
I love this.
I love love love this.
London’s iconic pillar box red phone boxes are being given a new lease of life by the Red Kiosk Company, who are renting them out to new start ups all over the land… They design and create ‘retail pods’ for fantastic folk with big ideas, like Ben Spier.
Oh well hello there.
We’ve popped out at the end of the Bank Holiday and have just 4 days left before it’s Saturday again and we can watch Thundercats in our pyjamas. (Is Thundercats even on any more?)
I’ve been away in Brighton these past few days with LM… holing up in a gorgeous airbnb flat, strolling down to the sea, eating ice cream and recharging our batteries.
