Buy a Tracey Emin for £50.
No, really.

Tracey Emin - The Other Art Fair

Have you ever walked round a gorgeous art gallery,  dreaming of owning something fabulous by a famous artist… and then sobbing wildly as you look at the price tags?

Well stop that sobbing right now, for I bring GREAT TIDINGS and EXCITING NEWS and I AM GOING TO MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER. (Especially if you like Tracey Emin. That bit’s quite crucial, actually.)

To celebrate the 10th edition of The Other Art Fair, the fair are welcoming back the fabulous Tracey Emin as guest artist… and to make the celebrations even more special,   Emin International are launching two new limited edition prints for The Other Art Fair as well as an exclusive poster, which will set you back a mere £50.

That’s the equivalent of three manicures. Or one lovely meal. Or a round of drinks… (depending on how many friends you have.) I would be happy to forgo any of these things for the chance to own an exclusive work by one of Britain’s most influential female artists – wouldn’t you?

The limited edition prints, Right Here and In My Head, are taken from two gouache paintings made by the artist during this summer and each available in an edition of 50 (priced £575 each).  The £50 poster, But Yea, made exclusively for The Other Art Fair, has been created from Emin’s neon artwork of the same name made in 2005.  (Love this one.)

The Other Art Fair isn’t like any other art fair.  It allows artists to form direct relationships with potential buyers and launch their careers within the contemporary art world. It cuts out all the nonsense. All that too-ing and fro-ing. (Is that how you spell that? Frowing? Hmmm) and all those middle-men-inbetweenies.

So if you fancy yourself as a bit of a collector, or even if you just like mooching amongst fabulous art & arty folk, get yourself down to The Old Truman Brewery next week, and tell Tracey I sent you.

She’ll love that.

No, she really will.
