Into The Woods
Afternoon Tea at Sketch

Sketch Afternoon Tea

If you are an Into The Woods fan, then hold onto yourself, for all your dreams may have just come true…

To mark the Blu-ray and DVD release of the musical adaptation, one of my favourite London venues, sketch, has teamed up with Disney to create a limited edition run of a very special ‘Tea In The Woods’ and Nikki and I were lucky enough to get to experience this magical tea a few days ago…

If you don’t know sketch, then allow me to introduce. Sketch is a fizzy, colourful, vibrant and magical space, where food, art and music all come together over two expansive floors of a converted 18th century building in Conduit Street, Mayfair, London. I love it.

Some of your favourite afternoon classics have been given a bit of a fairytale make over… possibly by a fairy godmother… or more likely, by the magicians at sketch.

Hervé Deville and Christophe Gasper, Executive and Pastry Chefs at sketch, comment, “Fantasy, fairytale, magic, colours and textures are words and adjectives that sketch has in common with Disney… We were naturally inspired as we always enjoy telling a story through our menus!”

Included in this very special tea is Little Red Riding Hood’s Choux, Jack’s Beanstalk Tart and a Prince Charming Green ‘Sand-Witch’… not forgetting the Baker and His Wife’s selection of sketch pastries…

What a gorgeous tea, and I loved the unique takes on all the different sandwiches and pastries…

Now I can’t wait to see the film! Have you seen it yet?

  1. I love Sketch! They did a great job with decorating the place for the film. My favourite thing about Sketch is the limitless scones they provide :-) Great post! xx

  2. Sketch looks lovely. I have been given a voucher for their afternoon tea and can’t wait to try it. Wasn’t sure whether to go for their In To The Wood themed tea or not though?
